Dr. Carrie Verkuilen is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin. She earned her Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1999. Since graduating, she has completed her certification in Nutritional Counseling. Then in 2024 she further her education and obtained a certification in Functional Medicine. Her goal is to be able to help people achieve health and wellness through a combination of chiropractic and nutrition.

Dr. Carrie has been practicing in Shawano since 2003 and is committed to patient education and community service. In addition to Dr. Carrie’s education from Palmer College, she has training in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries and has over 20 years of clinical experience. Recently she is excited about the knowledge she has gained in her Functional Medicine practice. Dr. Carrie is eager to treat patients of all ages to encourage optimal health within the entire family.

In her spare time, Dr. Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and son, Will. She served on the Shawano County Chamber as president, and as a board member for many years. She also served on the board for the Sacred Heart Catholic School and a member of the Shawano Boys Hoops Board.

Dr. Jennifer Skibba grew up in Waunakee, WI. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a biomedical concentration and chemistry minor from University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. In addition to graduating Magna Cum Laude At Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Skibba has also completed over 600 hours of continuing education in the areas of chiropractic medicine, advanced adjusting techniques, physiotherapy, neurology, TMJ, and extremity treatments, sports performance, soft tissue techniques, and nutrition. Dr. Skibba has taken courses in pediatrics, Lumbar Flexion-Distraction, Thompson Technique, Activator, Myofascial release, and many others.

Dr. Skibba shared her compassion and received valuable experience providing free healthcare in the less fortunate part of Brazil.

To stay healthy, Dr. Jen enjoys being active with her husband, Tyler, and their three children- Blake, Jaxton, and Kinley. Her goal is to ensure your family achieves optimal health through personalized treatment and patient education.
